Willem Van Puyenbroeck
Willem is a freelance photographer based in Antwerp, Belgium.
It all started when he was studying Business Economics and Marketing. During that time he also loved making music together with his twin brother. Over the weekends he used to shoot pictures with his older brother’s camera, so it quickly became clear that being creative was important to him.
Later on photography turned out to be more than just a weekend hobby. He decided to buy himself a professional camera to take his skills to the next level.
When he graduated from college he was left with two options: go for a career in marketing or take the leap of faith and follow his passion.
The choice was obvious. Photography it was.
“Photography motivates you to keep improving your skills & techniques everyday again and again. It’s a constant way of reinventing yourself creatively. That’s what I love so much about taking photos.”
In 2019 Willem’s work got featured in National Geographic’s annual calendar.

Ian Hermans
Ian Hermans is an Antwerp based photographer.
His interest in photography started at an early age when on vacation with his family he was the one with the disposable camera. As the film rolls were developed, his love for animals was clearly showing. The only holiday memories were of dogs he encountered on vacation.
Later on, Ian got himself some better gear and started studying photography in high school. At that time photography was still mainly analogue and up until now, he is very grateful for all the days he spent fixating and developing manually.
Immediately after his studies Ian started as a freelance photographer. As his business was growing he invested in a photo studio of his own and started to delve into product, portrait and commercial photography.
Next to building up his career, Ian is a frequent traveller. He has seen his fair share of the world by making the most beautiful journeys alongside his life partner Laura.
Ian’s next step is to open a creative hub in Antwerp where he can bring great creatives together in an inspiring venue.
